This work, published in two volumes, is the result of a systematic investigation of the author, who has traveled more than 500 km along the Serra de Montsant over twenty three years. The Flora of the Serra de Montsant meets 1251 taxa. It is explained the scientific and vernacular nomenclature, ecology and distribution in the mountains with an indication of numerous locations, as well as other biological and corological detailed aspects. Very useful are the distribution maps that complement the description of each species. Volume 1 includes introductory chapters where the author performs an approach to the physical and biotic environment and landscape plant zones and then details the methodology and information management. Then collects the cards of taxa 1-643.
